History
Founded in Bahia in 1996, the Bomix started off with only two injectors, one semi-automatic silk screen machine and 16 associates. Development was fast and steady. The competitive characteristics of the thermoplastic sector themselves pointed to the need for investments in advanced technologies, organizational innovations, more skillful labor, and differentiated services, elements that ended up creating high quality standards and granting Bomix its first certification: ISO 9001.
In 2007 Bomix strategically established the Blow Molding division in the city of Jundiaí, state of São Paulo, dedicated to manufacturing jerry cans, definitely placing Bomix in the Brazilian blown packaging sector. Three years later Bomix revolutionizes the domestic market of plastic packaging by launching 18-liter rectangular buckets, thus solving issues related to storage, transport and design.
In order to better serve customers throughout the Brazilian territory with experienced, skilled local reps, Bomix opened trade offices in São Paulo and Fortaleza in 2007 and 2010.
Today, the Bomix Group is a leader in the Brazilian plastic packaging sector, with Latin America´s largest manufacturing complex dedicated to producing industrial buckets in different colors and shapes, in addition to an advanced logistics and distribution center. To ensure fast and efficient delivery throughout the country, Bomix also has its own carrier, the Bomixlog.
